Arguably the meanest looking fish in freshwater, the African Goliath Tigerfish is menacing. With massive, interlocking teeth, these pursuit predators can reach impressive sizes! We had a client that runs a lodge who targets these fish, that wanted some custom work done. Intrigued by this I was very excited to get to work!

This was a fun drawing. Tigerfish have complex, bony plated skulls with a fair amount of detail. I used actual tigerfish skull references and pictures of live fish to come up with my own skull design.
